The RCF DMA 162P is a premium, two channels Class-D power amplifier equipped with an extremely powerful onboard DSP platform designed for flexible commercial audio distribution. Primarily engineered to combine with a primary DMA matrix unit, this amplifier easily scales up system power and drives advanced multi-room architectures for business music grids. However, the comprehensive integration of dedicated input processing, configuration control tools, and flexible connectivity also allows the RCF DMA 162P to excel as a highly reliable stand-alone audio amplifier for architectural installations.
Housed in an incredibly compact half-rack 1U metal chassis, the RCF DMA 162P delivers a robust 2 x 160 Watts at both 4-ohm and 8-ohm loads, or up to 1 x 320 Watts when running in a bridged configuration or driving direct 70V constant-voltage lines. By upgrading the unit with an optional RDNet network board, installers gain deep software control over all advanced DSP matrix functions, including structural equalization filters, safety compressors, a proprietary bass enhancer algorithm, and optimized RCF speaker presets. Running advanced FiRPHASE linear phase filters to maintain optimal phase-coherent response, this robust business music amplifier incorporates forced-air cooling alongside an extensive safety network that guards against short circuits, thermal overload, DC faults, high frequencies (VHF), and blown fuses.
